What a wonderful experience Gordon and I had, your staff members are the best. Lisa, Alcee, Mary, Dessiress and Dawn just wonderful people. Everyone was so helpful and made us feel comfortable, they remembered our names, I wish I could have remembered everyones name also. The villas are very clean and beautiful, we never had to wait if we requested anything. Thank you for one of the most wonderful experiences we have had. We hope we are able to go back for another visit next year.

I live in St.Lucia and this is one of my favorite short vacation getaways. Having been a guest at Stonefield 6 times so far, for a romantic gateway with my wife, for a relaxing long weekend with the family or with a few friends in a larger villa, Stonefield never fails to deliver. The perfect peaceful place to unwind, relax and rejuvenate. Thank you Stonefield, you'll be seeing me again, and again, and again...

This property is the Best! The food is beyond exceptional, homemade bread, fruit and vegetables grown on site, fresh fish delivered to the Chef to be presented to your plate in a way that will knock your taste buds into paradise!!
Of course the staff and facilities are top notch under the ever watchful eye of best GM you may ever meet.
Thank you Paul and the Stonefield staff for making our stay exceptional!

The Stonefield Estate and Villa Resort is the definition of paradise on earth. It had everything our hearts and heads ever wanted. From private outdoor showers to knotty pine and stone walled villas to wrap around jalousie windows to a delicious and well maintained plunge pool at our beck and call. We were always amazed at how satisfying the resort was. The unceasing beauty of the views and lush estate replete with humming birds and what they all do to the spirit make the vacation last beyond the days spent there.
The Mango Tree Restaurant is tops for its varied breakfast. Dinner is truly an exceptional experience and our host and hostesses were so pleasant and at ease with us whether a small group or just the two of us.
What a lovely and gracious reception we received upon arrival too and as the week wended on we got to know our hosts at the front desk even better than the first day, Responsible and dependable women, Karan, Suzan and Valna.
The manager Paul is an experienced international asset to the resort and Denalia, the assistant manager also keeps the estate and the affairs of the clients well served.
We won't ever forget you and look forward to seeing you again someday!

Turning off the main road to Stonefield's driveway, we weren't sure if we had entered the correct part of the resort or not. It was a steep drive down with only room for one vehicle. If someone was coming up, I'm not sure who would have to reverse and let the other through. But luckily during our entire stay at there it never happened. You will come up to a 24 hrs guarded entrance. After having been greeted and let through, we drove up to the reception area and were very welcomed by staff. Before we even had a chance to park and exit the vehicle! Everyone was very nice and eager and extremely polite. We had never seen such hospitality back here in Canada. They really do make you feel welcomed and not just for show. It felt genuine.

After a quick confirmation, we were directed to the guests’ parking lot and our Rain Tree villa. We had seen photos of and already had an idea of what to expect. But after we had entered our villa it was still breathtaking. Probably one of the most spectacular views of the Petit Piton was from our deck at this resort. There was a nice large hammock, a table with chairs, and 2 padded lounge chairs by our own private lighted plunge pool. Fantastic! Everything was very clean and tidy. Inside was a large 4 poster king size bed with netting to keep the bugs out. We had a small kitchenette with dining room table, fresh flowers and plants throughout. The bathroom was bight and clean and very nice, and there is a door that leads out to our private outdoor shower. Spectacular! But you have to note, that because the Rain Tree villa is at the bottom of the reception building, there's a small section of when you go through the door to your outdoor shower to the actual shower itself, if you look up you can see the windows of the back of reception. So there's a possibility of being seen naked for that brief moment. This for me wasn’t really a concern. Same goes for a section of your pool. It can be viewed at the back of reception (which only staff can access that part of their building). The walls around our villas were quite high and secluded otherwise. Before I used the outdoor shower, I would turn the hot water on and let it run for a few minutes for it get up to temperature. My first shower there that day, it started to rain. A very light drizzle for a few minutes. It was actually pretty surreal!

The resort in general felt very private and secluded. The property was very well maintained. Very lush with vegetation and perhaps we were lucky but there was next to no flying insects around. At all really. Maybe 1 or 2 buzzing sounds and that's it. At Rain Tree, if you walk to the edge of your deck, looking down is the guests’ parking lot. So at times you can hear other visitors and vehicles, which for us is not an issue. And unless you're standing nude at the edge, nobody can really see you. Other than that small section in the outdoor shower and a part of the pool, villa privacy is fairly good.

One of the islands magnificent places to dine is the Mango Tree Restaurant. Luckily it's located in Stonefield! Dining there was a wonderful experience! Dinner at the Mango Tree Restaurant is from 6-11pm. As at this time of the year it gets dark at about 6pm and it was our first night there, we did have some trouble finding the restaurant. Which is kind of funny considering it was just up the hill from the guest’s parking lot. We had gone down the hill instead. We could hear people chatting away in their own private villas and I just raise my voice a little and asked if anyone knew where the restaurant was and an older gentleman came out and directed us! Nice resort, nice staff AND fellow guests!

Very impressive as you enter the restaurant property. The pool was lit up, the weather was just right, nicely lit and although it was nighttime, you can still see the silhouette of the Pitons. Stars are as clear as ever - no city light pollution. It was surreal, for a lack of a better word to describe it. Again, the hospitality is amazing. We were quickly ushered to a table like royalty. Now I got to tell you, I've wined and dined all over in the cities where I'm from and I've read reviews about how people complain about the long wait to expect for food in St. Lucia. Bring your chill they would say. Well, with our experience here, we had gotten better and faster service than most places at home, except for of course McDonalds. We came with an open mind for wanting to try anything new. I had ordered the Shrimp Fish Kabob and my wife had the steak. The portions were a good size. Satisfactory even for me as I'm a big eater. At home, my weekend breakfasts includes 8 eggs sunny side up, 4 slices of toast, 1/2 a pack of bacon and sometimes some breakfast sausages. So as you can see, portion size was a small concern for me when dining out. Our meals came with local fresh vegetables and rice shaped to represent the Pitons. Creative and delicious. That, with a few Piton beers and Cocktails, our final bill was roughly $150 USD which they bill to your room for your convenience. As does most resorts do, we've learned.

The ambience at the Mango Tree Restaurant was comfortably casual. A deluxe resortish relaxed atmosphere that really does make you feel away from everyday business life. The air is fresh, the breeze is welcoming and sounds of night creatures are enchantingly abundant.

After our memorable meal, we headed back to our villa. Relaxed for a bit and then had a night swim in our lit up pool. It doesn't get any better than that. Again, no bugs to bother us either inside or outside. Just the sounds of rainforest wildlife. We happily welcomed such noises.

We also took a quick trip around the grounds and went on their trail to some ancient stone carvings. A nice hidden surprise we were unaware of. They also have a parrot that greeted us "Hello" on our walks. Quite amusing. After finalizing our bill we were given bottles of water for our departure.

We would definitely recommend Stonefield to our friends and family, and would certainly consider staying there again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Stonefield for our honeymoon in early February this year. The view from our villa (Jasmine) was AMAZING,we are convinced we had the best view of all the villas (but perhaps all the views are spectacular). The staff was very friendly and we loved the property. The rustic secluded feel was perfect for our honeymoon. LOVED the outdoor dual shower and the private plunge pool and deck. The kitchen was great because we were able to cook a few meals and have snacks and wine/beer at our leisure. 5 minutes from Jalousie which was great because we got married there, but we wanted the more secluded stay at Stonefield. The Mango Tree restaurant was delicious with a beutiful view!

Have just returned from a wonderful week at Stonefield and think it must be one of St Lucia's best kept secrets. The villa was a delightful rustic retreat with private pool and hammock on a separate veranda from which to enjoy the view of Petit Piton. housekeeping service was good and non-intrusive. Staff were cheery, helpful and welcoming too. We didn't take advantage of the spa or gym available but were regular visitors at the Mango Tree restaurant. I have to disagree with Earl's review of the menu - there was plenty of choice on the breakfast menu with a different special every day as well as the normal choice of hot food or a light, cold meal.
The dinner menu was changed each week and our stay overlapped a menu change. Perhaps you would end up having the same meal twice if your stay did not include a menu change. Having said that, we found the food to be consistently good and the Plantation BBQ on Thursday evening went totally 'off menu' but was still of very high quality. Yes, it was slightly expensive but there are other (even more expensive) fine dining restaurants close by which the reception staff would gladly book a taxi for you to visit should you wish.

Stonefield is not 5-star opulence, yet it is a different kind of luxurious. If, like us, your life is rushing headlong from one day to the next, then the luxury that Stonefiled provides could be just what you are looking for. I'd go back, how does next week sound?

We just returned from there where we spent a week on our honeymoon. If you are looking for relaxation, peace, quiet, and privacy, I highly recommend Stonefield. The staff were very friendly and helpful with whatever you may need. We met the manager who was very pleasant as well. The Mango Tree restaurant has some of the best food we've ever eaten; ate there every morning and almost every night, never had a bad meal! We got aloe wraps from the Bamboo Spa which were amazing as well. It's only 5 minutes away from Jahlousie, the prettiest beach in St. Lucia(we travelled from the southern tip to the north hitting all the beaches inbetween). The views from the villas and restaurant are breathtaking; being surrounded by the Pitons and jungle on 3 sides with the 4th overlooking the water. Would definitely return! Thanks for making our honeymoon unforgettable Stonefield, we miss you already!
