1. Atlantic Rally for Cruisers

Organized by World Cruising Club, the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers (ARC) is the largest trans-ocean sailing event in the world. Taking place each winter, the journey from Gran Canaria to St Lucia takes between two to three weeks and covers more than 2,700 nautical miles.

2. Soleil Festival
Encompassing five unforgettable festivals – the St Lucia Jazz Festival, the Roots and Soul Festival, St Lucia Carnival, the Arts and Culture Festival and the Food and Rum Festival - between January through October, Soleil brings you culinary excellence paired with the best rums in the Caribbean, worldwide Jazz greats performing live and weeks of explosions of colour, rhythm and creativity.

3. Chocolate Heritage Month
Spend August satisfying your sweet tooth during Saint Lucia’s Chocolate Heritage Month. The island has a chocolate legacy dating back to the thriving cocoa industry of the 1700s and it still produces some of the world’s most sought-after chocolate. If that’s not worth celebrating once a year, we don’t know what is!

4. Jounen Kweyol
Taking place on the last Sunday of each October, Jounen Kweyol celebrates the French/African dialect widely spoken in St Lucia. A mix of creole (Kweyol) food, music, games and folklore come together to give this festival a unique flavor.

5. Mercury Beach
Taking place each summer on Pigeon Island Beach, Mercury Beach is the most anticipated event hosted by the French-Caribbean nationals from Martinique and Guadeloupe. The event usually attracts more than 300 vessels from Martinique and over 7,000 visitors from neighboring Guadeloupe, St Vincent, Barbados and Trinidad.
