Beaches don’t come any better than they do in gorgeous St Lucia. Here are three of our favourites…

1. Model Behaviour
When it comes to scouting out the very best photoshoot locations, Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition knows a thing or two. That’s why it chose the gorgeous Malgretoute Beach, just south of Soufrière for its 50th anniversary edition a couple of years ago.

Models Emily Ratajkowski, Chris Urena, Samantha Hoopes, Lauren Mellor and Hannah Ferguson were all snapped on Malgretoute Beach, a calm mooring site for yachts sailing around the island.

This gorgeous spot boasts some of the clearest waters around the island and it has the Pitons as its picturesque backdrop. In short, it’s classic ‘St Lucia’. What’s not to love?

2. Calling all Snorkellers
Jump on a water taxi in Soufrière and let it take you to the gorgeous Anse Chastanet.

Grab some shade beneath a gently swaying palm tree and soak up the ambience before you experience some of the best snorkelling in St Lucia. The off-beach coral reef there is just teeming with multicolour fish, so rent some gear and prepare to be amazed.

3. Party Time
With some stunning views across the bay to Pigeon Island and more than a mile of perfect golden sand, Reduit Beach outside Rodney Bay Village is a big hit with travellers – and you may even find yourself at an impromptu party there.

This is the busiest – and friendliest – beach on the island. If you’re alone, you probably won’t be for long, as the south end of the beach takes on a party atmosphere, especially at the weekends.

Cradled in the lush rainforest of St Lucia’s west coast, Stonefield Villa Resort is the perfect place to relax on your vacation. Built in harmony with St Lucia’s natural surroundings, Stonefield offers a unique eco-resort experience that features private, semi-outdoor villas, world-class dining and a full-service spa.
