Relax and Rejuvenate in St. Lucia

Leave behind the hectic pace of daily life — in St. Lucia, you’re on island time. This means it’s time to relax and unwind while nourishing your mind, body, and soul. At Stonefield Villa Resort, it’s our job to help you relax and enjoy your vacation, so we’ve rounded up some of our favourite ways to relax and rejuvenate in St. Lucia:

Located just a 5-minute drive from Stonefield Villa Resort, St. Lucia’s Soufriere Volcano (Sulphur Springs) last erupted over 200 years ago. Nowadays, you can head to the dormant volcano’s sulphurous springs and immerse yourself in the natural mud baths that formed on its surface. These mud baths are full of minerals that are great for your skin and have smoothing and anti-aging properties. The baths are also great for eczema, arthritis, or sunburns (if you spent a little too long by your personal plunge pool). Take a guided tour of the volcano to see the natural boiling mud and steamy springs. You’ll also get to see the view from the volcano’s peak, so be sure to bring your camera!

Spending time in nature is a proven way to boost your mood and improve your mental and emotional wellbeing. The term “forest bathing” has been used in Japanese medicine to describe spending time in the forest to experience this healing phenomenon. When you’re in St. Lucia, head out to the beautiful Tet Paul Nature Trail to experience the magic of forest bathing for yourself. You can hit the trail independently or with a guided tour, so be sure to pack your walking shoes and a water bottle and get ready to experience the sights, sounds, and smells of St. Lucia’s beautiful rainforest.

You don’t even have to leave the resort to experience the ultimate relaxation in St. Lucia! Stonefield Villa Resort has everything you need to get pampered right on site. Visit our Escape Spa for amazing treatments like a 4 Hands Massage (the only thing better than a massage therapist is two!), a holistic facial (everything you didn’t know you needed!), or a Meli Mélange spa package (Creole saying meaning ‘a bit of everything’, including a facial, a tropical fruit body wrap, and a 30 minute back massage). And if lying at a spa leaves you feeling a bit antsy to move, head over to our onsite yoga studio with ocean and rainforest views.

No matter what, we promise you’ll leave Stonefield Villa Resort feeling energized and ready to step back into reality with a renewed sense of energy and wellbeing. The island awaits!
