Experience the Excitement of the Mango Bowl Regatta November 29 to December 1

Get all the excitement of sailing on the open seas — without the seasickness! The Mango Bowl Regatta is an awesome 3-day sailing competition held in St. Lucia’s beautiful Rodney Bay each year. This event is small but growing fast, with Regatta Classes including a Cruising Class and several Racing Classes including J24 and Surprise. If you’re an avid sailor, registration for the regatta is currently open, so contact the St. Lucia Yacht Club for details on how to enter and get ready for the event of your life! If you thought you liked sailing (or just watching sailing) before, imagine doing it on a gorgeous Caribbean island surrounded by blue waters, swaying palms, and the warm sun shining down on these beautiful boats.

The Mango Bowl Regatta is hosted by the St. Lucia Yacht Club, the island’s only sailing club and community hub for those who love to sail (or just love watching the boats sail by while relaxing with a drink). But don’t think of it as a stuffy Yacht Club that’s exclusive and unfriendly! The St. Lucia Yacht Club embodies the welcoming, inclusive spirit of St. Lucia by welcoming new members and overseas visitors with quintessential St. Lucian hospitality. Their membership ranges from total beginners to Olympic sailing competitors, and everyone in between. And if you’re looking to start sailing in St. Lucia, check out the Youth Sailing Programs (available for all levels of experience) or the adult lessons the club offers.

Not here for the regatta? The St. Lucia Yacht Club is a great place to hang out. See the front desk for information about using the squash courts, or check out the bar and restaurant for some island refreshments and cuisine with a great seaside view.
